Life's a beach

My last but one photo was of Silverdale's idyllic beach. But just behind me stood this salutary notice. It warned:

Beware quicksand 
Beware fast tides 
Beware breaking waves 
Do not use inflatables
Beware submerged objects
 Beware sudden drop
 
And ended with the cheery poster:

If quicksand doesn’t get you the tide will! (See extra photo)
