Off-piste

Went off for an explore today and due to a few navigational assumptions (ahem) entirely failed to reach Frigiliana where we were all supposed to be meeting for lunch.

Did have a lovely walk up the Rio Chillar though, including wading through some spectacular slot canyons.  I would have enjoyed it much more if I hadn't been looking for that elusive path that I never found.

(I'd like to emphasise that I wasn't lost as such - I knew exactly where I was at all times - just not how everything else in the world connected to where I was)
