River Walk

My word...,this is a late blip today. I have been busy, starting at 5.am and on the go right through until late this evening. After my early gym session the dog and I took a short walk alongside part of the Taylor River. The orange flowers in the distance are California Poppies. At that early hour the poppies's petals are still tightly furled waiting for the sun to warm up. And warm up it did indeed with the temperature reaching a summery 26 C.
