happy hour...

...and Henny's version of a Mai Tai in Cairns where I find myself (as one does) when least expected.
Right in the heart of town the resort is an unexpected mélange of  comfy accommodation, pools, a resident tawny frogmouth and a BRILLIANT Balinese restaurant with a chef from Bali's topnotch nosh spot.

A gorgeous warm evening and a feast for one with minced seafood satay cooked on lemongrass skewers served on a tiny charcoal bbq and a bowl of fish and green papaya coconut soup. (extras)
