Life as it happens

Autumn in Kirkcaldy

This is a photo I took at Beveridge Park pond, Kirkcaldy. I was trying to snap the autumn colours in the afternoon sunshine as it broke through the clouds. But just a wee gripe: given the strenuous efforts of the local council to ask people not to feed seagulls in an attempt to discourage them from coming inland and causing nuisance, why do adults with children chose to feed them in the pond when they are self-evidently not ducks?! Perhaps signs  are needed at the pond to remind the public!
