Alone on a Windfarm

By their very nature, windfarms tend to be cold, often wet and most definitely very windy places.

However, windfarms at dusk have an 'atmosphere' unlike any other location I have ever visited. I have worked as a consultant on windfarms in Quebec during the coldest of winters, California and Texas during the hottest of summer days, in the mountains of Southern France, the peat bogs of Scotland and Ireland and the forests of Sweden.

Dusk on a windfarm, irrespective of location, is possibly one of the most surreal, yet definitely one of the loneliest places on the planet.
