Dahlia crescent

This fantastic sweep of dahlias is still at it's peak at Angelsey Abbey near Cambridge. The abbey, originally a medieval priory, was bought unseen by Lord Fairhaven who remodelled it in the 1920s into a grand house that entertained royalty. He bequethed it to the nation so it is now run by the National Trust and open for all to visit.
