Shades of pink

Oh, the windmill of my mind going pink ;-) I count at least 5 shades of pink here. We had a bit of a scare last night when son no 1 texted that he had been hit by a ball in the head during hockey training and had had stitches and an advice to wake up/be woken every two hours in order to see if he might not have a concussion or a bleeding after all. We were in Belgium, he in Holland, son no 2 was in Holland with him too, so we decided to stay in Belgium and stay in touch via Googletalk video every two hours. The miracles of the internet ! He's fine apart from the stitches, we're in Holland with them now and on the way over on the car radio we heard a doctor in Holland telling that nowadays you can even get consults via computer camera too!

The pink diary, paper and mini wind mill are for Pink October, to support Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Please, if you have the time, visit the Breast Cancer site and click on the pink bar to help fund free mammograms for those who can't afford them otherwise.

Thanks very much for that, and for your lovely comments, stars and even some faves for yesterday's soft pink rose, very much appreciated :-)
