Great Blue Heron

We took a walk through the woods to Cape Cod Bay and discovered this Great Blue Heron.  We were warned by a park service ranger that it is hunting season, and we should have worn brightly colored clothing.  I had no idea hunters were in the area, but sure enough, we encountered a couple of them with their orange clothing and guns, and heard a few gunshots.  We walked very quickly back to the car.
