Statue of Eugène Renaux on the Puy de Dome

Eugène Renaux was an early aviator. On 9 March 1911 he flew a Farman MF7 plane to win the Michelin Prize offered for a passenger-carrying flight from Paris to the summit of the Puy de Dome.
