Henry Moore at the Louisiana Gallery

We visited the Louisiana Gallery of Modern Art in Humlebaek with our friends Mette and Jakob. The main exhibition was the work of the Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama - very dotty, and some wonderful infinity nets. Came out blinking. I got more from the remarkable etchings of Lucien Freud; impressed by his capacity to bring out the character and inner world of his subject through sharp observation of their faces and his wonderful ability to draw.

Backblip: Churchyard and Lake at Humlebaek


I am not a great fan of the work of Henry Moore but I managed to really appreciate his great bronze sculptures in the setting of the garden with the sea in the background.
