Don't Look Back in Anger

Getting Alf 'I'm a bloody teenager' to come for a walk can be a challenge. We managed it today by promising him I would fit a new shell on one of his PS4 controllers.

So of we went to Beechwoods.

I really like Beechwoods, even though it was only planted in the 1840's (only;)) it has a very ancient feel to it. It somehow feels a bit more peaceful and earthy than the nearby Gogs, which of course is odd as the Gogs really are an ancient site.

Anyway a lovely walk.

Then back home to sort out the PS4 controller. I've done easier things, like completely rebuilding a Classic TVR, that was easier, or making data connections run across Satellite phones in the middle of a desert, in the dark while suffering from Dysentery, that was simple compared to this. Fiddly as flip and the new shell is not the most well engineered bit of plastic. Anyway it is all back together and amazingly it all works. Alf is happy, I'm utterly flabbergasted.
