A Day At A Time.

By ElCid

Lovin' It.

We had quite a storm in the night. At one point, the lightning flash and thunderclap were quite simultaneous and the whole house shook.

But just as quickly as it had arrived, the noise disappeared and then it rained. And rained. And rained some more.

Storm drain covers were lifted and deposited on the pathways. The trickle of stream that sometimes flows on to the beach from under the road became a raging torrent and carved out a swathe on the sand five metres wide.

There have been rumblings all day and another storm is due tonight. But it does make a change and it's quite nice to have some rain.

Should all be back to normal by Wednesday.

Have a great week. Half term beckons.
