Applewood Road is Emily Barker, Amber Rubarth and Amy Speace, with Telisha Williams (double-bass) on this recording
Emily Barker is an Australian singer-songwriter who now lives in Stroud, in the Cotswolds. Amber and Amy are also singer-songwriters but come from East Nashville TN, and they have teamed up together to become Applewood Road. On 10th October they were on Dermot O'Leary's Radio 2 Show (clip available until 2nd November), so this is the LOTD for that day. For this day, R.I.P. Carey Lander (born 21 March 1982; died 11 October 2015) from the Glaswegian band Camera Obscura (Music: "Comptine d'un autre été, l'après-midi" by Yann Tiersen).
