Good News! a sunny Day!

So off we went down to Runswick Bay for a walk on the beach, Pat didn't fancy the hill, so sat knitting while I went down and found it was as warm as summer, in the sun and sheltered from the North East wind.
I made a million Friends!
Due to having to walk across about fifty feet of rotting seaweed to reach the place where I took the photo, disturbing in the process vast numbers of big black flies which seemed to have taken a fancy to me personally.
It came to me suddenly that I had an urgent appointment with the interior of the car so I made my way back trying to find a route with less seaweed between me and the village!
