Piazza del Popola

I am ashamed to say that we nipped into MacDonalds for breakfast but the Italians take their coffee so seriously that they even do MacDonalds well - barista, real cups and tasty pastries - enough to get us going. Lunch was more authentic Italian and dinner was fabulous even if the service charge was  for the view it was well worth it to sit back, relax and watch the comings and goings around the Piazza del Popola. Forum and Colosseum ticked of the to do list together with fountains with running water thanks to the Piazza Navona which boosts not one but three beautiful fountains.
