Saturday was tennis and clearing out space in the garage to fit in the new bike as well as the old bike that M will be bringing back with him in two weeks. And then hauling out the lawn mower and trying to start the lawn mower and doing the last mow of the communal lawn for 2015.

Sunday was playing for the vets again and losing heavily again and Hamid the player-manager walking off the pitch in a huff before half time and going to the tip and coming back and doing lots of paperwork and having a quick adjust of the new bike and, what's that? The weekend's over?

Today was greyness and work enlivened only by the game of football after work.
