All in the same boat

In the morning we head down to the harbour to catch the ferry to Capri.

On the boat, a helpful guy tells us the Blue Grotto is closed because the sea is too rough.  We shouldn't worry though, because the bus tours he’s selling are a much better way to see the island.

We’re not entirely astonished to find he’s mistaken about the grotto, and take a boat there from the harbour. Between the striking colour of the water and the cacophony of singing boatmen, it’s worth the time we spend bobbing around in a queue of boats.

Take the funicular up to the busy main square where we have a top meal followed by a stroll around, then it’s time to get the ferry back.
