Rule of life No.469 never talk to accountants.

Normally this is a rule I would highly recommened to anyone - they only want to talk about money but in my case I make an exception. My accountant is the only one I've met who will talk about anything except money. He plays guitar, hangs out with the local rock glitterati and even looks after bands affairs.

His latest acquisition is Aberfeldy a fine indie band which has just signed to Rough Trade. I cannot praise them high enough - their first album was a belter.

...in the end we had to talk about money, what a drag.
