Cuenca

We thought it might be a good idea to go on a road trip* So we headed north on a coach to Cuenca. Cuenca is a fantastic walled city, high up in the hills, steeped in history.

The coach took us to the top and then on a guided tour round the town. Lots of hanging houses and interesting facts ( the only one which sticks in my mind is the bridge to the entrance of the town is called fat head!)

The bridge in this shot was not called fat head but was the short cut down to the town. Loose planks a go go....I held Mr Lif's hand, closed my eyes and scuttled

*turns out Mr Lif and Mr Lif's brother are not best suited to extended periods of human interaction in a confined space
