Here we go again (again)

Union Canal

We visited the Falkirk Wheel today.
It's the only rotating boat lift in the world, and connects the Forth Clyde Canal with the Union Canal.

It's another example of great Scottish engineering, although it was built in Derby!, and is well worth a visit if you happen to be in the area.

If you are one flickr, you can see my Timelapse video of the lift in action.

The blip is a shot of the autumn trees reflecting in the Union Canal.
Now that autumn is here, we seem to be having some nice summery weather!
