Evening - West End

I was speaking at a seminar organised by Glasgow University's  Centre for Scottish and Celtic Studies at 5.30.    Once we had finished a few of us went for a drink in The Curlers on  Byres Road  but I had to leave quite quickly as I was driving back to Argyll.

When I walked  round the corner to pick up my car ( which was parked  in Lilybank Gardens, just outside my University office )  I was struck by the autumn look and feel of the evening.

The nights are fair drawn'  in as they say in the West of Scotland  and the clocks change on Sunday.
