Orchids

I have a good friend who has very green fingers. I visited her this morning to photograph one of her exquisite orchids. We searched the Internet, without any luck, to try and identify this actual variety. It is a very unusual deep shade of maroon. Perhaps an orchid-loving Blipper can help us out.
