Highway in the sky

Did some office work this morning then in the afternoon explored the campus where K is studying for her PhD at Case Western Centre for Business Management. Some really interesting? weird buildings - see in extra. Hardly a straight line to be seen and no right angle corners anywhere on the inside. Apparently there were some issues with this one, it had to be completely re-designed after construction had started to allow for the correct snow load. Then they realised that snow tended to slide off the curved outer shell at land on the pedestrians, so they had to create garden plots around the edges and redirect footpaths further away from the sides!
Talking of snow, as winter approaches here, the squirrels are out and about, fattening up on the acorns from the many trees around the campus.
