St Michael's church

This 14th century church is in a quiet corner of the busy campus of the Open University, in MiltonKeynes. In the early 1900s it became the family church of Dr Harley and family, (who gave their name to Harley Street in London, the location of expensive medical practices). They and their decendants lived at Walton Hall until WW2 when the was occupied by women who worked at nearby Bletchley Park. The OU took over the Hall and estate in 1969 and 5 years later I started working there.
