Aquamarine/Nanna K's Day

Hallway

My weekly blip challenge is "hallway" so I've been waiting for this one...The hallway leading to the restrooms at the Seattle Opera House. The original worlds fair 1962 opera house was totally remodeled in 2003 -one of the requests from patrons was more restrooms! so the line didn't go out the door as in the previous house. That doesn't happen anymore. :-)
We saw Bizet's Pearl Fishers tonight. Besides some gorgeous singing, it was whimsical visual magic with sets and costume designs and fabric prints by fashion icon, Zandra Rhodes, ( who splits her time between London and San Diego.). I read in the program that the Met in NYC hasn't performed this entire opera since Caruso sang it 100 years ago! (for good reason I think) but they are going to stage this visual delight of a production.
