Sunlit Wires, Denside of Durris

What started as a truly dreich sort of day blossomed into a hot, searingly bright afternoon. I came across this scene as I was driving along a minor road near Denside of Durris around 16:35, by which time the harsh light was starting to soften a little. It was one of those occasions when the whole composition - the strong sunlight reflecting off the silage bags, silvering the wires and gleaming on the 'extenders' beneath the insulators on the hydro pole - all came together in an instant, and I knew this had to be 'the one' for the day.
