New Admirers

We went to a U3A meeting near Durham today where the speaker was Michael Leach a wildlife photographer and photographer. Other U3As in the area were invited and 10 of us went from Stokesley.

The main reason that Guy and I went was because almost 20 years we went on our very first photographic holiday to Sikkim with a group led by Michael. We had also seen him speak at our old camera club down south. He was really entertaining and it was a very good day.  It's a pity that I couldn't get myself into a position where Michael was facing the camera. I could have stood in the centre of this group of people but because the light from the window was directly behind Michael his face would have been very dark.

Must cut and run as we are off to our Photographic Society meeting as soon as we have eaten dinner.
