Lord of the Isles.

As I discovered yesterday ( in the pouring rain), my waterproof coat is no longer waterproof, so a trip out to find a new one was required. As ever, when you desperately want to find something, it isn't there....

So I popped into STEAM to see what was in the foyer. This is the wheel of the "Lord of the Isles", built in Swindon and one of the large gauge locomotives. ( note how big the statue of Brunel is compared to the wheel- he was 5ft, not including hat.)
