Rhynchophorus ferrugineus

this is the bug who is killing all the palm tress in the mediterranean... 

beautiful but a bit nasty for the gardens....it came from Indonesia and entered Europe via Egypt (plant importation) ... killed like 500 palm trees in 3 years just in Lisbon... there are no palm trees anymore here in the town I live now... public or private.
