Rock strata

Early start - in to Berwick on the school bus this morning to allow MrM to have the car so he could start taking our rubbish to the tip. Very windy as I walked from the bus stop at the station up to the office.

MrM and Angus met me from work and, after a trip to the supermarket, we had a short walk on Cocklawburn Beach. The beach changes with each tide (or so it seems) and recent erosion means that this interesting rock strata is visible below the grassy bank.

Back to the flat for a meal and some R&R in front of the TV. Sore throat almost certainly heralds the coming of a cold...

Day 9 of the great upheaval. The new floor has been laid in the bathroom and looks good. The bad news is that there is no loo! Hoping that the new one is put in tomorrow...
