Speedy delivery

This is my new passport. It lasts until July 2026, I hope I do!
After all the reported delays last year I decided to be ahead of the game and renew my passport in plenty of time - they allow a 9 month changeover window. So you get up to 10 years 9 months.
I filled out the forms, submitted them and paid online. Printed off and signed a declaration, then posted it, my old passport and 2 new photographs by special delivery on Friday. My passport arrived yesterday, and as Saturday and Sunday are unlikely to have been working days that was pretty impressive stuff. Well done passport office.
