Not many running clubs will have two torchbearers in their membership.

The start of our run was delayed tonight as Brian and Derek turned up wearing their tracksuits and carrying their torches, they were both in the Olympic torch relay on Saturday. Brian was taking part in Lytham St Annes but Derek had to go all the way to Bury, he didn't seem to mind, he said it was all a fantastic experience. Brian was the subject of my Saturday blip and Derek has been the subject of a blip before.

Both these guys made sure that anyone who wanted to could have their picture taken with them and the torches so Young1 had the chance to see the torch up close, she missed the relay on Saturday morning as she had to do her paper round.
