2000 Blips!

Recipe for 2000 Blips

Assemble ingredients daily for an inspired photograph

Preparation time includes choosing and isolating a subject, your viewpoint, creative framing and the finer points of photo composition. Keep in mind the rule of thirds, ways to create depth and lines that lead the eye. Look for plain and unobtrusive backgrounds. Care should be given to the balance of elements, symmetry and patterns, and creative experimentation which may involve the addition of special equipment.

Gather and mix together,

a cup of inspiration
all the light you can and cannot see
subject of choice
camera of choice
suitable lens
fresh memory card
well charged battery
a pinch of Photoshop
a dash of Lightroom
a sharp eye
steady hands
a sense of joy
a handful of luck

Combine all items and fold into your memory card to form a photograph.

Download the memory card to your computer and edit, perhaps by cropping to get your viewer’s undivided attention. Share your finished product with blipfoto to suit your daily photo needs and to engage the blipfoto community. Share with the many you may, or may not have met and hope they like your taste in photographs. Test new inspirations, experiment and begin the entire photographic process over again the very next day.

For the Record,
This day came in fair and cool. Today is my 2000th journal entry with no gaps OR backblips. I will forever be thankful for the daily joy, support and all the blippers I have met virtually or in person. I have learned so much from this beloved community for so many years, thank you, I really love you all!!

Today is also our 23rd Anniversary. We have two anniversaries to celebrate annually, the original one in 1992 and our official wedding day on New Year’s Eve, 2013. We’re going out to eat tonight to celebrate our 23 years together( 25 knowing each other) & my 2000th Blip. Raspberry will find something special in her dinner bowl tonight, don’t you worry. She got her cheese treat immediately after the shot.
