Laying of the stones

Today there was a festival in our little part of the city, to celebrate the laying of the second set of paving stones, bought by people of the area - as part of the fundraising to refurbish the clock and grounds. Many have bought stones as a memorial to someone loved who has since passed, so when I reviewed my pictures, this one, with the fallen Autumn leaf, seemed particularly poignant.
