The Ballet Dancer

Thank you all for your kind concern for my burnt hand yesterday - upon instruction we had to visit the Minor Injuries Unit again first thing this morning and the burn is so much better - big blister popped, and a smaller dressing applied. More great treatment from the lovely Nurses. I showed them yesterday's Blip - think we may have a new recruit.

In the afternoon we drove to Poole and then took the Ferry over to Brownsea Island, I've always wanted to visit there and wasn't disappointed - we walked the orange route through the Dorset Wildlife Trust and were joined by Red Squirrels and Peacocks along the way. The Autumn colours and views were stunning and from the Hides we saw lots of Avocet, Oyster Catchers, Cormorants, Red shanks and other sea birds and water fowl, but too far away to identify.
Got back to the caravan rather late and feeling cream crackered but really enjoyed our afternoon.
