In full flow

A rather grainy shot of Alex Cole-Hamilton at the Scottish Lib Dem conference in Dunfermline today introducing his emergency motion on "responding to the global refugee crisis" which was overwhelmingly carried. The motion called on the UK and Scottish governments among other things to increase their initial response to the worst humanitarian crisis in a generation. An upbeat day, with many new party members swelling the numbers and contributing effectively to the various debates. And a cracking speech by new leader Tim Farron too! We took the opportunity to catch up with hubby's cousins who live in Dunfermline afterwards, a fine end to the day.
