The 'cake'....

Well, as always, this took longer than expected, mainly because I didn't like my first attempt as thought it looked to 'majorette' like... and thus unpicked the sequins, and trim... And started again.

A flower made over a year ago came to the rescue!

Oh, and it probably didn't help I had one eye on the rugby too.

Am very much hoping the recipient likes it... have to wait until Friday to find out, as away on business from tomorrow til then.
