Walking Mount Etna

One of the things we had to do when in Sicily is climbing Mount Etna.
We took the morning bus from Catania which took us to 1900m (Rifugio Sapienza) and then we climbed to 2950m. One hell of a steep climb!
We started below the clouds, went up in it and ended way above them. So beautiful!

The ground was black, red and green. The sky white and blue.
