Strom Remnants

Category 5 Hurricane Patricia made landfall about 500 km north of us on an isolated stretch of the coast, thankfully doing little damage and causing no deaths. We suffered a half day of light rain and much reduced waves at the beach. If I was a true photographer, I would have been out in the heart of the storm capturing the breaking surf rather than catching the shot above at the end of my run today. After two days of being housebound, it felt good to get out for a little exercise. The clouds cleared by the end of the day and it looks like we will be back to our sunny norm tomorrow.
