Autumnal Trentham Gardens

I like the way the deck chairs are neatly folded against the tree as if to say "sorry Summer is over...."

This is glimpse, through the trees, of the Italian Gardens from the lakeside. A pleasant morning walk before heading home for a garden blitz!

May be the last grass cut before the winter? Scarifying and aerating the lawn. Cutting back of fallen leaves and taking out a few plants. 

I've spent the afternoon on the sofa with the neighbour's cat curled up next to me, editing photos from a trip to Bristol in July. It does take me ages to get photos ready to create photobooks, but they're worth the effort. I think you look at photos more if they're in a print format, than stuck on your computer.
