Fifty Years

UC Santa Cruz is 50 years old! The celebration goes on. Today there was a Banana Slug parade downtown, full of balloons and floats and enthusiastic students. We marched behind the Silver Slugs banner: the retirees. It might clarify things if you know that the banana slug is the UCSC mascot.
