Washington Square Park

Today was day one of the Leica Street Photography workshop. I expected to use my X1, but when I arrived I was handed an M9 rangefinder with a 35mm F2 lens. This was very cool, but it was like learning to take pictures all over again.

There were fifteen students and three pros, Justin Stailey from Leica, New York street photographer Markus Hartel, and DC photographer Matt Dunn.

I took some images at the transgender protest, but chose this image as my blip.
