Giant's Causeway

What a great weekend!  Tony and I have been in Northern Ireland accompanying the England Junior Squad who have been competing in the Junior Home Internationals.  This is a back blip because there was no wi-fi in our accommodation, the only down side in what has been superb hospitality on the part of the Northern Irish orienteers.

Today was the Individual event and England finished the day five points ahead of Scotland, so all to go for tomorrow.

After the event our hosts had arranged coaches for us to visit the Giant's Causeway and the Carrick A Rede Bridge.  The Causeway lived up to all expectations and I struggled to choose a blip from the many I took.  En route to the Carrick a Rede Bridge we spotted a school of dolphins and, coming away from the bridge we saw them again, this time surfing in the waves, fabulous!

After another excellent dinner back at our accommodation, the youngsters enjoyed an energetic Ceilidh!  The Irish certainly know how to throw a party!
