Mono Monday - Origins

I've been racking my brains for an idea for this week's Mono Monday Challenge - Origins.
This is a fossil fish which we bought years ago in Lyme Regis. It actually comes from the Green River, Wyoming, USA (not Dorset) and for all of you out there who are fossil experts, it is "Mioplosus Labracoides" and is approximately (give or take a few months) 50 million years old, which makes it the Eocene Age.
Who knows - this could be the origins of the cod that you're eating for your dinner this evening.

Thanks to Nickimags888 for hosting today's challenge - it was a toughie!
