This rig is called 'Ocean Guardian' and is one of four now anchored in the Forth Estuary. That is the result of the recent downturn in the fortunes of the oil industry. The other firths up the east coast of Scotland are also showing a similar increase in platform parking.

Well, the industry's loss is the Blipper's gain. especially when 'Nature' decides to high-light them.
