Another day, Another Place

We spent the night in Chester and then drove up the Wirral and through the tunnel to Liverpool. We wanted to see the Antony Gormley statues on Crosby Beach. The main blip is two statues with Birkenhead beyond. There are 100 of them firmly fixed into the beach; much further apart than we thought. Some rarely get underwater, but others are completely covered by the tide. The ones at the top of the beach are going rusty, whilst those further down are being claimed by the sea creatures such as the barnacles in the extra blip.
