"Wool away".

As the shearer finishes shearing the sheep he calls out "wool away" if the fleeco is a bit slow in taking the wool to the wool press. This wool is the initial product towards the making of a lovely woolen carpet or jersey. Wool production was a big contributor to the New Zealand income back in the mid- 1900's when most of it was shipped to the woollen mills near Bradford in England. Wool prices are currently very low but it stills a wonderful natural product. This is my contribution to the mono Monday challenge of origins..... the origin of a woolen carpet.
