Petal

I like the way that in soft light the shadows gradually deepen between neighbouring rose petals. So I got this photo of the effect in the early light before work this morning on one of my plants. I've found that overexposing pastel coloured or deliberately out of focus shots of flowers by a couple of stops actually improves them.
