Space

There's plenty of space in Christchurch.

Sometimes all that remains are the original, squat and what's turned out to be well built MED buildings. Originally owned by the Municipal Electricity Department, I guess Orion owns them these days. I haven't seen a damaged or destroyed one of these buildings yet.

Strange. I hear the figure 80%. 80% of our central city destroyed. Still can't get my head around that.

One more big sleep before I fly to spend some time with Mum and Dad. I live in the south, they live in the north. In theory that means it should be warmer.

It's 8.30pm and I'm still to pack. I should probably go and do that ;-)
